"Giving birth can feel overwhelming, and going into it I knew I wanted someone there who could help support and advocate for me alongside my husband. Having India as our doula ended up being one of the best decisions we made for the birth of our son. From the moment labor really began, India was incredibly present. She supported me both physically and emotionally—holding me, encouraging me, and helping me work through each moment of labor. During such an intense and vulnerable experience, having someone calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring by my side made such a difference. She made sure my voice was heard and that everything happening was something I felt comfortable with. Before delivery, we had talked about what her role would be once our baby boy arrived. In case he might need extra assistance after birth, we agreed that she would stay with him and not leave his side if that happened. When the moment came, she followed through exactly as we discussed. While we were being attended to, India stayed with our son and made sure he was cared for, which meant the world to us as new parents. India truly felt like part of our support system that day. She brought comfort, reassurance, and strength during one of the most important moments of our lives. I’m incredibly grateful for her and the care she gave our family. If you’re considering hiring a doula, I cannot recommend India enough. Having her there made our birth experience feel supported, safe, and even beautiful. I’ll be forever grateful she was there for our big day 🫶🏽"
